ContextEstablish a control network of 410 points in the City of London
Our roleThis project included establishing new control points, network design, GPS session planning, GPS observations, and network adjustment. Callon-Dietz was responsible for mission planing, creating site sketches, observing GPS carrier phase measurements on stations throughout London, and adjusting collected data. A validation survey using static GPS techniques was conducted prior to the main survey. The main survey was completed using fast static GPS methods. Observations were downloaded and reductions were performed. All collected data was processed and adjusted for input into the Provincial COSINE database. A total of 410 control points have been added. The project specified that third order results were expected. We achieved second order accuracies on 90% of the new stations surveyed.
