ContextProvide comprehensive surveying deliverables to allow for the detailed design and construction of 6.7 kilometers of twinning, from 2 lanes to four, on Highway 69 in Parry Sound, Ontario.

Our role—Our first step was to establish horizontal and vertical geodetic control throughout the site, enabling us to collect detailed topographic information for a digital terrain model. The digital terrain model was used to; design the new road and to resurface and realign the existing roadway.

Collected survey data was used to show ground conditions prior to the start of construction. The project's engineering consultant used this data to determine new property requirements for the new/expanded roadway. Callon Dietz prepared legal surveys to illustrate the property acquisition.
