Context—Establish geodetic control and survey the limits of two rural roads in Elgin County.
Our role—Callon Dietz established horizontal geodetic control and the right of way limits on both roads. On completion of the new design, we also prepared reference plans to define additional land required for road widening.

This project involved:
• using GPS technology to perform the control survey
• a least squares adjustment
• reestablishing and monumenting road limits
• digital drawings of the road limits (delivered to the project
• engineer for the road improvements design)
• reference plans to acquire new property needed for road widening purposes
