Callon Dietz is expanding to offer utility locates and SUE. Clients would prefer a on-stop shop with surveying and SUE and prefer to work with quality professional land surveyor with inhouse SUE.

SUE CAD
Positions: SUE CAD
Locations: Oshawa, ON
Role Summary:
Reporting to the SUE Lead, the SUE CAD will be responsible for completing utility records circulations, preparing files for field work, coordinating work (on1call, permits, PDO, etc.), drafting SUE projects in various CAD standards, and assist with proposal preparation, and managing SUE projects. It is expected that the SUE CAD will be able to help in several components of the overall SUE process.
RESPONSIBILITY & JOB DUTIES
The position includes, but is not limited to:

Utility records circulations,
-
Preparing packages for field work,
-
Prepare project drawings in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
-
Drafting SUE work in accordance with ASCE 38-02 standards, as well as the project owners standards (Ontario Regions, Municipalities, etc.)

Compile field data for test hole reports and project report appendices,
-
Coordination of field work including permits, Ontario 1 calls, inspectors, sub consultants, etc.

Follow project schedules and provide status updates,

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Experience in SUE drafting is preferred, experience in drafting utility networks is an asset.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Strong computer skills required.

Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
